“BMEWS Site III – – An aerial view of the radar warning site at Fylingdales Moor, Yorkshire, showing the three radomes facing north and east to beam their signals over the North Sea. Part of the support area is in lower right and a tropospheric scatter communications installation is in the centre foreground. Radomes are as tall as 15-story buildings and house tracking antennas 84 feet in diameter.”
